IMDB rating: 8.10 Plot: Marty McFly is an aspiring musician, but he is not sure of what the future holds for him; first his band was rejected as the performing band for the school dance, and historically, no McFly has succeeded in anything. The only bright spots in his existence are his girlfriend and Emmett Brown, the town crackpot scientist, who is Marty’s good friend. Marty was helping brown with his latest invention a time machine, which is fitted into a Delorean. The time machine needs a tremendous amount of power to work, which he gets from plutonium. Now Brown got the plutonium from some Libyans who want him to build a bomb; they find Brown and shoot him, Marty gets into the Delorean and drives off and when he reaches the speed of 88 mph that activates the time machine, he finds himself in 1955, cause that was the date that Brown entered, which was when he first conceived the time machine. Now having already used up all the power of the plutonium, Marty must find a way to get it working, so he can go back to his own time. Marty looks for Brown but before he does, he runs into his father as a teenager, and accidentally interferes with his father’s first meeting of Lorraine, his future mother. Marty then goes to see Brown and convinces him that he is from the future and to help him. But when he learns of the amount of power that is needed to power the machine, he tells Marty that it’s hopeless cause the only other thing that can generate that much power is a bolt of lightning and it’s impossible to determine when and where they will strike, but Marty has with him an old newspaper cliping that states that the town clock tower will be struck by lightning, so they plan to draw the energy from the lightning so they can power the machine. But before they do, Marty must act as cupid for his parents cause it seems that because they never met they won’t fall in love and get married and Marty will not exist. |

Would I like Final Fantasy 13?
I’ve played barely any Final Fantasy games (only a gameboy one and two ds ones) and didn’t really like them, however, I loved Spirits Within and Advent Children (even though I didn’t understand any of it) but they were films and I would really like to get into the games. The sort of stuff I play is: Elder Scrolls, Fallout 3, Assassin’s Creed, Resident evil 5 and Halo (they’re pretty much all my games :P)
Also which film will explain the story of Advent Children to me?

Play FF Crisis Core to get the story of FF7 (the one with Cloud and Tifa etc.) Also some FF have different style of playing (such as FFXl) I recommend playing FF7, FF Crisis Core, FF Dirge of Ceberus, FFX, and FFX2 (sequel of FFX) Will you like FF13? Spiritually Speaking, how many monkeys are on your back?
a) 13 monkeys. Monkeys are more than just members of the primate clade, they are also a poignant metaphor that saturates the entire world in a persistent accusation against humanity’s inhumanity; these 13 metaphorical monkeys are a constant reminder to me to avoid the 13 greatest animalistic temptations of my life.
b) 1 monkey. There are probably many more, but I only have time to deal with one.
c) 6 monkeys. But they are useful. Sometimes I get them to wash my car and carry groceries into the house.
d) all of the monkeys. They are currently working on a script for Shakespeare’s "King Lear."
e) no monkeys. Well, there are monkeys around, but they are "trunk monkeys" like from the commercials.
f) 5 monkeys. Not too bad, but the screeching and lice-picking gets kind of old.

What Do Blind People See?
I know this may sound like a stupid question, but just think about it. Do they see pitch black? or is it just extremely blurry to them? I am hoping maybe an optometrist can answer this question.
There’s really two different types of blindness. There’s "legal blindness", or not being able to see better than 20/200 even with glasses/contacts, and then there’s "Ray Charles blindness" or not being able to perceive light.
So for someone truly blind like Helen Keller, it’s like sitting in a dark room all the time where you cannot even perceive light. Otherwise, you can perceive light but cannot distinguish other things.

Where can I take a real written IQ test? I just took one online and I want to see if it's correct.?
I’m 15 years old (turning 16 in January) and I’m a high school junior. I skipped 1st grade but I just thought that was because I was the 1st grandchild and I got tons of learning toys and such.
I just took an online IQ test and got 138. The test came with my brother’s computer. I also took one on IQtest.com about a year ago and got 131. I disregarded the score because I just figured it wasn’t accurate because it was online. How accurate are these? Isn’t 140+ genius or near genius?
I’m curious, where can I be administered a real one? That tests everything. Please and Thank you 
Mensa administers these in many areas and many countries. The online tests are notoriously inaccurate. Genius is generally considered above 150 or so. Many psychologists will also administer them, but they tend to be much more expensive, and are used more for diagnostic purposes.

Should I rehome my cockatiel?
I have two parrots and love them dearly—but am wondering if I should keep my cockatiel.
The reason is as follows:
My first parrot and her DO NOT get along (I had no clue he’d react like that, and she was a Christmas gift from my parents)–my Timneh Grey (a rescue) does NOT like her. Or at least the size difference poses a serious threat. But I don’t want to be doing the whole rotating of time-out-of-cage thing (I want them both to be able to hang out while I am home and fly around, they’re both flighted).
If she was bigger I wouldn’t be so worried because if two same sized birds get into a little squabble it’s not a problem–but even normal squabbling between a Grey and a cockatiel could injure her badly or worse.
She also is a screamer (I’ve tried everything short of a behaviourist–which is the next thing I’m looking into). I’ll be moving into an apartment soon—and don’t want to get thrown out because she’s a loud mouth.
They both eat Harrison’s and healthy people food and are flighted. I’m in the process of getting two new huge cages for them both (went through a rough patch financially). They’re both spoiled, sweet and are always included in as much of my daily routine as I can (showers, cage cleaning, laundry, meals…).
But I just don’t think it’s fair for one to be locked in a cage while the other is out and vice versa. As much as I think they get some company from each other during the day while I’m out at school, I don’t think it’s fair for them to half to live like that.
If I rehome her I may get a new rescue grey (or similar sized parrot) so that my grey has the flock experience (I sometimes get the impression that he just needs to learn birdie social skills as he spent 5 years in a basement alone with nothing before he came to me but obviously the tiel is way too small to teach him manners).
I love Sully the cockatiel but I’m beginning to think there’s no way to make this work and she’d be better off in a home with other tiels or someone who is home all day to love her continuously.

@Flowers—thanks so much for all the help and understanding. I’ll definetly bring the grey with me when I go to choose a new playmate for him if that’s the road I take.
I know deep down that it would be better and safer for all three of us if she found a new home.
Yep, this is a tough choice. I had a Senegal for 15 years and got a just weaned hand raised Senegal for company as I worked a lot then. Well the older one had obviously been with me alone too long and he inflicted 3 serious injuries on the youngster, who, STILL tried to be friendly! I kept the older one out all the time and ony took the younger one when I could mediate. He’d sometimes tease the older one by diving at him. They had a morning ritual whe they chatted very quietly until they heard me up. I would get punished by the elder if I went directly from the younger to him (sometimes he’d sock me and other times a bad bite) so I’d have to wait a few minutes. I volunteer at a bird rescue from time to time and I suggest you bring the gray with when finding a companion. At the rescue, they always do this to avoid problems. They bond to us as playmates.
I guess I’m saying you should rehome the tiel and am sorry. I know it’s hard, but to know it’s being loved and the center of attention is comforting.
