How can I keep my legs looking soft and healthy?
My legs are really sensitive. From years of shaving my legs are splotchy and red especially when it’s warm or humid, it has this "flushed" look that never seems to go away and I hate it. Does anyone know what this is or how to make it go away?
How can I keep my freshly shaved legs nice and soft and healthy until the next time to shave? How often should I apply lotion? I usually have pretty severe dry legs that itch like crazy no matter what kind of lotion I use, either it be cheap or expensive. My legs dry out a lot when I go to bed and wake up the next day. If I don’t keep moisturizing my legs they feel like paper. =[
I just put suave lotion all over my legs in the bathroom while the hot water was running. It was steamy and moist in the bathroom. I used an apricot scrub on my legs, rinsed, shaved with Aveeno shaving gel with a razor with 4 blades. Rinsed with cool water, and applied lotion again. They feel great right now and I want to keep them that way as long as possible.
What are your favorite shaving and lotion products?
I know it sounds cliche’, but drink more water…..it helps with hydration. I’m going to suggest 2 things that may help with the dryness, but I can’t say whether or not the "flushed" look will go away, but who knows.
You’re skin is sensitive and dry, so you really need to stay away from the perfumed lotions…it’ll only agitate them. The scrub exfoliates, but I would suggest the "Sugar Scrub w/energizing citrus" by Neutrogena…..it comes in a jar. It’s far better than the apricot, because the emollients help retain the moisture. I’m tellin ya…. you’ll love the stuff. A great moisturizer is the "deep conditioning coco butter" by Vaseline. I recommend both of these to help keep your legs smooth. For shaving lotion….I just use my body wash, it lathers up real good, so I can’t see spending the extra money on "shaving lotion"….but that’s just my opinion.

well some people might say to just come out and ask him if something is going on, and that a woman’s intuition is always right… others say dig and dig deep. don’t let on that your worried just investigate.. i say go snooping, because what people don’t seem to get is that if your cheating then your putting the health of your partner at risk and if hes not man enough to tell you then you have every right to look around.. if hes not doing anything then you wont find anything…

tell him that you’ve noticed he’s acting strangely (just mention it casually) and then plan things so you spend lots of quality time together. if he resists this, then go see a divorce lawyer, you deserve a lot better than that.
unfortunately you gave him permission to cheat again. by taking him back after cheating once you sent him the message that it is acceptable. starting fresh with a decent guy will bring you much more happiness than second-guessing everytime your husband acts out of character for the rest of your lives. which is what you have signed up for, irrespective of whether he is cheating or not. the trust is gone, move on before you get more hurt.

Proceed with checking him out very cautiously. Don’t let him suspect. Check cell phone calls etc., do reverse phone number look ups for unknown repeated numbers. You don’t want to start a war without knowing for sure and you may want to keep him. If he is cheating and you want out, start moving assets into your name and get your name off accounts, things like that. I know that sounds heartless and cold but the name of the game is survival. Especially true if you have kids. If he is cheating and you want to keep him; get the best counseling you can get. Not a psychologist or any of those purported marriage councilors, try your attorney or a Pastor. Some one with life experience that you trust and usually older.
I’ve saved myself a lot of trouble by abiding by this old saw "If it doesn’t seem right; it probably isn’t".

Are storage radiators more money to run then conventional radiators?
I am due to move into a new property in three weeks time and it has electric storage radiators and not conventional radiators. Do they cost more money to run then normal radiators…
It’s an odd one this as the night storage heaters use "economy 7" electricity. I.e they store heat in the night when electricity is cheaper to buy. They are not ideal by any stretch though.
They are clumbersome old things and most people end up ripping them out and putting in a gas / oil fired central heating system.
I think in answer to your question they probably are cheaper on a ? / ? basis, but they are hard to control and not very user friendly, hence most people get shot of them and opt for a wet system

Yes. Electricity is more expensive unless you are on economy 7 (cheep electricity at night), then you heat up the heaters at night, but most of the heat will radiate during the day. So by the evening very little heat left. Great if you work nights.
Gas central heating is far better, as you can switch it on when needed. But gas central heating is more expensive to install.
I would switch you electricity supplier to get the best deals.

Assuming they run on the Economy 7 night time tarriff then probably fairly similar.
Storage heaters do have some advantages:
You can switch some of them off…
In the event of a power cut, you’ll still have approx 24 hrs worth of heat.
Less chance of something going wrong with them and if one does fail, then only that one room effected / cost of repair likely to be less.
However you should check how old they are, ones from the pre 1970’s could contain Asbestos. Modern ones that are fixed to the wall and slimmer than their predecessors don’t.
If the property also as a hot water cylinder with an immersion heater, you should also ensure this as a timer so that it can also benefit from the cheaper night time electricity.

What do you mean by "conventional radiators". If you are comparing off peak electric heating with other forms of energy you will probably find it a little more expensive than natural gas or oil. Its probably cheaper than bottle gas but then so is buying a private jet.
If you are comparing it with other electric heating it is much, much cheaper. The new storage radiators are not cumbersome.
The plus point of storage radiators over oil or gas is the install cost may be cheaper. If the property already has them, then it will be very difficult to justify the cost of removing them and installing an oil or gas furnace and radiators.

Now having already used up all the power of the plutonium, Marty must find a way to get it working, so he can go back to his own time. Marty looks for Brown but before he does, he runs into his father as a teenager, and accidentally interferes with his father’s first meeting of Lorraine, his future mother. Marty then goes to see Brown and convinces him that he is from the future and to help him. But when he learns of the amount of power that is needed to power the machine, he tells Marty that it’s hopeless cause the only other thing that can generate that much power is a bolt of lightning and it’s impossible to determine when and where they will strike, but Marty has with him an old newspaper cliping that states that the town clock tower will be struck by lightning, so they plan to draw the energy from the lightning so they can power the machine. But before they do, Marty must act as cupid for his parents cause it seems that because they never met they won’t fall in love and get married and Marty will not exist. |
