IMDB rating: 7.60 Plot: When Mr. Dashwood dies, he must leave the bulk of his estate to the son by his first marriage, which leaves his second wife and three daughters (Elinor, Marianne, and Margaret) in straitened circumstances. They are taken in by a kindly cousin, but their lack of fortune affects the marriageability of both practical Elinor and romantic Marianne. When Elinor forms an attachment for the wealthy Edward Ferrars, his family disapproves and separates them. And though Mrs. Jennings tries to match the worthy (and rich) Colonel Brandon to her, Marianne finds the dashing and fiery Willoughby more to her taste. Both relationships are sorely tried. But this is a romance, and through the hardships and heartbreak, true love and a happy ending will find their way for both the sister who is all sense and the one who is all sensibility. |

"Middle wing fringe types?". Gotta have a name for everything don’t we. What’s wrong with them just being tired of the sleazy deals and the arrogance of politicians who drive on even when they are aware that the majority of the American public is against what they are pushing for? Fringe types? How would you describe the actions of the congressional leadership? Did they really have the interest of the American public in mind or their own power. Well an opinion anyway from one of those ‘middle wing fringe types’, not to mention a ‘veteran’ (and you know what that means). Good luck to you

51% of MA citizens are now registered Independents and that has happened since 2006/07. To register as one you are generally a small government type, and he is one. BTW Brown is not a Conservative by any means.
He is more of an Olympia Snowe Republican.

Nobody is really upset about Brown winning in Massachusetts. He is a moderate Republican, for all the gloating that’s going on around here. He does one thing that doesn’t please the right wing, and he’ll be a RINO. Then, they’ll drop him like a hot potato.
